Chior Chairman, Church of The Holy Spirit Awka, Mr Okwuchukwu K. Okonkwo has described the wedding ceremony between Ndidiamaka Happiness Omeje and Ikechukwu Paul Ogbuebi, ( Agha) as one born and made in the Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka.

Okwuchukwu said the couple were members of the Church Chior where their love life began and ended in marriage to the delight of choir members.

Happiness from Owere-Eze village in Alor-Agu, Igboeze-South , Enugu State and Paul from Aniyi Ngodo village ,Nise ,Awka-South , Anambra State wedded on Saturday 1st of July, 2023 at the Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka.

The celebration of the Holy matrimony was presided over by Ven. Dr. Rex C. Kanu who in his sermon centered on Love for each other, encouraged the couple to place God first for their spiritual edification and family love.

Ven Kanu reminded tbem that wedding ended that day but marriage just begun which according to him, ‘only love for each other will carry them along to the end of their life”.

At the reception, the Chairman on the occasion, Sir Uchenna Umeokafor, (Ewelego Gwoaju na Igboukwu), congratulated the couple on the new union they just begun and encouraged them to tolerate one another in other to go far.
Highlights included dance by the newly wedded couple and presentation of gifts by choir members, youths and other guests.

Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, PhD, Justice CEK Anigbogu, retired, Sir Comrade Justin Okoye, Akwaeke Enugu-Ukwu, and Mr Ugochukwu Okonkwo, Chairman Building Committee , Sir Chinedu Ilokanuno ,Chairman, Medical Consultants , NAUTH, and Mr Kenneth Ilodigwe were among personalities that graced the occasion.
