EFCC Awka Directorate: MAN Pledges To Strengthen Partnership

The Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) South East, Lady Ada Chukwudozie, has affirmed the resolve of the body to forge stronger collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the areas of mutual interest and in the fight against crimes.

Lady Chukwudozie, stated this on October 2 pawhile fielding questions from newsmen shortly after the inauguration of Awka Directorate of the Agency by President Bola Tinubu, represented by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas.

She explained that they would take advantage of the proximity of the anti graft agency to deepen beneficial partnership geared towards improved service delivery, accountability and transparency.

“As a productive enterprise, we require strong institutions, and the EFCC is here to work within the framework of accountability, transparency and predictability, and ostensibly to prevent crimes of all sorts.

“I think the Awka Zonal Directorate is going to be beneficial to all of us, and we pray that this office will be a symbol of service that will strengthen enterprise and our collective prosperity,“she said.

The MAN Boss further assured of the organization’s commitment to dialogue, compliance, building and attracting businesses that would contribute to the overall development of the state and the nation in general.

“We hope that the officials will discharge their duties with professionalism, fairness and integrity and consult the private sector to engage us constructively”, she stated.
