“Lead With Humility, Serve With Integrity” — Ohanaeze Youth Leader Charges New Anambra North Mayors

The Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra North, has congratulated the newly sworn-in Local Government Mayors across the zone, urging them to embrace responsible and people-oriented leadership.
The Youth Leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra North, Mazi Ifeanyi Kwentoh, gave the charge in his congratulatory message to the newly inaugurated Mayors, describing their assumption of office as an opportunity to strengthen grassroots governance and bring meaningful development closer to the people.
Kwentoh urged the new Mayors to uphold integrity, accountability, humility and inclusive leadership, stressing that the welfare and development of their respective communities should remain at the centre of their administration.
He called on them to pay particular attention to youth development, employment opportunities, education, healthcare, infrastructure, security and grassroots economic empowerment.
According to him, effective leadership at the local government level was critical to improving the quality of life of the people, noting that the new Mayors have a responsibility to translate their mandates into tangible development across their respective Local Government Areas.
The Ohanaeze Youth Leader also encouraged the Mayors to promote unity, cooperation and peaceful coexistence among the people, while working closely with community leaders, youths, women and other stakeholders to achieve sustainable development.
He wished the newly sworn-in Mayors wisdom, courage and divine guidance throughout their tenure, urging them to remain accessible and responsive to the needs of the people.
“Leadership is a responsibility entrusted to you by the people. We encourage you to lead with humility, listen to your people and leave a positive legacy in your respective Local Government Areas,” Kwentoh said.
