Ex World Igbo Congress Chief Commends Senator Kalu for his early Christmas Development gift to Ihechiowa

The former chairman of the World Igbo Congress, Prof. Kalu Kalu Diogu and leader of APC in Ihechiowa has commended the senate chief whip and senator representing Abia North, His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on his tireless efforts to bring development projects and other dividends of democracy to Ihechiowa.

The ex Igbo congress chief made this commendation in reaction to the senator’s several working visits to Ihechiowa during the first week of December 2020 to give the people a sense of belonging as well as assure them of valued representation at the national level. Prof. Diogu lamented that the people of Ihechiowa have been neglected over the years by all governments from state to Federal and thanked Senator Kalu for coming to the community’s rescue and giving them hope again. These projects that will positively impact the lives of the ordinary people in the community include;

  1. Ensuring and Supervising the return to site, in full force, of the contractor on the 5km Umuchiakuma-Okpo Ihechiowa road. Work on the road is ongoing
  2. Commissioning of the 2km Obinto-Atan Ihechiowa road Work on this road is ongoing
  3. Receiving Chief Joe Ezearo and his large group followers who joined APC from APGA and PDP in Ikwun ward, Ihechiowa
  4. Revitilization of the abandoned Uburu, Ihechiowa power sub-station on hand with the Federal Minister of Power and other officials of the ministry
