Professor Chikodi Nnanyelu Ezegwui Anigbogu (Agbiligba) Laid To Rest In Nibo

It was historic as four Bishops led by Archbishop Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim PhD,JP ,Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop Awka Diocese as well as scores of clergymen ,Academic from Lagos, Anambra, friends, colleagues and family gathered at St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Nibo to bid farewell to late Professor Chikodi Nnanyelu Ezegwui Anigbogu, ( Agbiligba), reports Www.odogwublog.com.

Late Prof Anigbogu died at 70 years and was a Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology at University of Lagos.
He was survived by a son Weluchi Chukwunweike Anigbogu and a daughter, Kodichi Anigbogu as well as numerous brothers and relatives including Hon. Justice Chinyelu Emeka Kalajine Anigbogu, Rtd among others.

In his sermon, Archbishop Ibezim extolled the extraordinary qualities of Late Prof Chikodi Nnanyelu Ezegwui Anigbogu and encouraged those witnessing these testimonials about him to strive to be better than him inorder to have great testimonies at the end of their race in life.

Archbishop Ibezim said it was not only a lost to the Anigbogu family but to the Nibo community and Anglican Diocese of Awka as well as the Academic community.

He informed that there are three types of death including
Physical death as written in the book of James.
According to Archbishop Ibezim the other death is spiritual death according to the book of Isaiah and the third one is in the
Book of Revelation as revealed that the third type of death, which is the day we shall stand before God and the book of life opened for judgment.

He encouraged the living to visit mortuaries to understand how it was the Grace of God for us to breadth.
He proclaimed that this life is terrible as no one knows his or her next moment but God hence we should trust God always and live righteously in accordance to God’s desires and wishes.

Someone cam be physically alive but spiritually dead because the person has cut tires with God. He encouraged Christians to be in good relationship with their creators.

www.odogwublog.com reports that other Bishops were Right Reverend Sustenance Ezeh from Enugu North Diocese, Right Reverend Prof Isreal Okoye of Ihiala Diocese and Right Reverend Obiorah Uzochukwu, of Mbamili Diocese among scores of Priests led by Ven Benjamin Ofili of Nibo Archdeaconry even as the Archbishop of Province of Oweree was represented by the priests. There were Old students Maryland Alumni, Chapel of Healing Cross to mention but a few.

Justice Anigbogu aka Kalajine in his word of thanks , appreciated His Grace and other Bishops as well as all guests for coming, insisting that the lost is irreparable.
