Nigeria @65: Onitsha South Mayor, Orji Felicitates Nigerians, Prays For better Nigeria …..Commends Onitsha South residents For their Resilience, Determination, Unwavering Spirit

The Mayor of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Hon. Chief Emeka Orji on 1st October, charged Nigerians to live in peace, love. Unity, tolerance, mutual respect which the country was founded on so as to actualize harmonious coexistence of Nigeria and Nigerians based on socio-economic justice, equity, equality, preservation of human rights and dignity of human persons.
The Mayor who gave this charge in his office while speaking on Nigeria’s 65th years of Independence, prayed for prompt actualization of Nigeria of our dreams, hopes and aspirations in tandem with philosophy and ideology of our founding fathers where justice, equity, equality, morality, patriotism and good governance will be the order of the day and way of life of citizenry.
Orji also commended the resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit of the people of Onitsha South Local Government saying, “May this milestone inspire us to work towards a brighter future for our beloved nation.
“As we step into the new month of October, I wish you all a fresh slate of opportunities, growth, and success. May our local government area continue to thrive under our collective efforts.
“I will like to take this moment to reiterate my commitment to serving our community with dedication and transparency. Our administration will continue to prioritize people-centered programs, infrastructure development, and good governance.
“Let’s unite in our pursuit of progress and prosperity. Happy Independence Day, and may God bless Onitsha South Local Government Area, Anambra State and Nigeria.”
