JAMB extends public universities’ admission deadline to Nov 17
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the 2025 admission deadline for public universities from October 31 to November 17.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, said the extension followed appeals by vice-chancellors and disruptions caused by a court injunction and the accreditation of 229 new programmes by the NUC.
He stressed that the new deadline is final and urged institutions to ensure full compliance.
