Anambra CP John Abang saves life of underage girl, pays N140,000 hospital bill
Anambra state commissioner of police , CP John Abang, fdc yesterday paid the hospital bill of One hundred and forty thousand naira (N140,000) to release a 17-year-old girl under hostage at Everest Hospital Awka.
The young girl was impregnated while hawking Oranges for her impoverished mother.
According to Prince Emeka Kalu who went on the social media to solicit support for the girl, she was held hostage at Everest Hospital, Opp CPS, High Court Rd Awka, following her inability to settle bills after she was delivered of a bouncing baby boy, through C.S.
Shortly after appealing for the general public to assist the young girl, the Anambra CP through the state command’s PPRO , Haruna Mohammed asked for Prince to come for the cash of N140 ,000 to settle the bill.
This act by Abang showed that no religion is greater than human service,in line with the preachings of the Caring and Helpline Foundation(CHLF),aka Careless Whispers, a pure Charity,social and human service initiative , founded by Prince Emeka Kalu, Magic fingers of ABS Radio/Tv Awka.
Magic fingers as Prince Kalu is fondly called had said that at Careless Whispers stands as an intervention program for the poor and helpless in the society.
