Nigeria beat Ghana 49-29 at International Handball Federation championship

Nigeria’s U-18 girls team comfortably defeated host Ghana in a thrilling match at the International Handball Federation (IHF) Women Trophy Africa Zone 3 Phase ongoing in Accra, Ghana.

Cosmos Chukwuemeka, the media coordinator for the Handball Federation, said this in a statement made available in Lagos on Thursday.

Organisers decided that award a 10-0 to their first opponent, Benin Republic because they didn’t submit their players’ passports at the stipulated time according to a report by IHF.
