Shun Cultism, ‘Okite’ and Internet Fraud, Anambra Commissioner Tells UNIZIK Students
Speaking with students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the commissioner for information and value reformation in Anambra, Dr Law Me for urged students to shun distractions like cultism, ‘Okite’, and internet fraud, stressing the importance of hard work and focus.
“Good grades are 70% hard work… focus on the real things of life… where there is a will, there is a way,” he said.
He assured his ministry’s readiness to collaborate with the students’ initiative and accepted, tentatively, their invitation to be keynote speaker at “Tech Media Expo 1.0” on July 3, 2026, subject to official engagements.
UNIZIK SUG PRO, Ifeanyi James Nduba, congratulated Dr Mefor in his reappointment as commissioner for information in Anambra state and presented “Synergy Hub”—a tech and media mentorship platform built on “iron sharpens iron”.
Nduba said the hub pairs professionals with beginners to make students job-ready and invited the commissioner as the keynote speaker for the July 3 expo.
