The 100 Anambra Achievers’ Team has congratulated Prof Ifeoma Egbuonu on her induction as one of the 82 Foundation Fellows of the Nigerian Academy of Medicine. An amazing feat, the group says.

In a congratulatory message to Prof Ifeoma Egbuonu and released to the press, the group showered encomium on her, describing her as an iroko, living legend, a trail blazer and encyclopedia in medical practice. The group further stated that when a woman is empowered and educated, she stops at nothing in reaching her goals, and she becomes an inspiration to other young women to reach for the stars, “Prof Ifeoma Egbuonu is another example that we cannot go wrong with women in any field of human endeavour”.

Speaking further, the group commended her simplicity and unassuming nature despite her exceptional achievements and advised women to follow the footsteps of these kind of women who have made tremendous impact in the society, their careers and at the same time, found a balance between professional and family life, realizing the importance of family in the traditional African society and ensuring that both aspects of their life are nurtured. These, to the group, are the champions.

The group prayed for more success and wished her well in all her future endeavor.
