100 Achievers’ Team Congratulates Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi On His 60th Birthday, begs FG to honour him
The 100 Achievers’ Team has congratulated Dr Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi on his 60th birthday which he clocked recently and described him as a worthy and illustrious son of Anambra state who has made tremendous impact in the oil and gas sector and community development.
In a release by Barr. Lizzy Anyaonu, the group described Dr. Obiejesi as a titan who took it upon himself the mandate to deepen the local content in the Nigerian oil and gas sector and develop indigenous technological solutions to engineering issues in the sector. His imprints and extraordinary success story, according to the group, is a testament to the fact that the Igboman, when given some wings, will raise his hands and touch the sky.
Speaking further, the group commended Dr. Obiejesi for his foresight in business and lauded his ability and ingenuity in rising from a mere Onitsha market trader to an International business man, with the ambition of quoting his company on New York and Nigerian Stock Exchange. They praised him for making excellence an attitude and for positioning the Nestoil brand, making it a poster child for Nigerian indigenous capacity in a sector that is dominated by foreign oil majors. They also praised him for his resilience and indomitable Igbo spirit, and for making his Alma Mater Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) proud, becoming a reference and a shinning light to the glory of his Alma Mater. The group thanked him for his massive job creation efforts for Nigerians in the oil and gas, telecommunication and construction industry.
The group wondered why a man who has contributed so much to the economic development of the country has not been given recognition that befits his status and urged the federal government to as a matter of urgency do the needful in according special recognition to this great Nigerian who has become a reference point for excellence and an inspiration to the younger generation. The group added that apart from his business savvy, Dr. Ernest has been able to empower his community, Okija through state of the art hospital, Loyola Jesuit College, roads, international golf course, scholarships etc.
