The vice president commended the efforts of the state government for the initiative, saying the Nasarawa state diagnostic and research center is a landmark achievement, which without doubt,in part of the world, this type of achievement deserved to be celebrated.

“But perhaps for me, the under lined lesson to be learnt from this very achievement are about Three things to be looked out for.

” But when you have the vision ,you are most likely to attract money, Nasarawa state is not by any means the wealthiest in the country.

” Infact, if you look at what Nasarawa state earns at the end of the month from the Federation Account ,it certainly doesn’t comes anywhere near the top.

” But the state has proved that the vision is even more important than money” The VP stated.

The number Two citizen of the country, however commended senator Tanko Al-Makura,for conceiving the vision and start up the project, when served as governor of the state.

“The second lesson learn is that, vision itself can be killed ,if your successor does not have a big enough mind ,if your successor is small minded, vision means nothing. Continuity is not just about one party succeeding another,it is the very norton that when you succeed someone, you developed all the great ideas,by building on the vision.

” And I think governor ,engineer Sule’ has proved that by building on great vision of senator Tanko Al-Makura,that had brought us to this place today to celebrate a notable and scientific achievement.

” The third and most important lesson, perhaps to me,is that this country has everything that it takes to be among the world best,we have everything,we have the talent,we have men and women of vision and all of the resources” He added.
