Umuezechi Family, Isi Achina Seeks Broad based Awareness Of Family Members Ahead Of December 28th Reunion

In a determined effort to create awareness of blood affinity among the Umuezechi family dynasty relatives both at home and in the diaspora,a community leader of Isi Achina extraction in Aguata Local Government area and a collosus of note, Chief Sir Joseph Nwakpadolu (Omereoha Aguata)has unfolded the 2025 blueprint of the Umuezechi family to further deepen the bond among them.
Chief Nwakpadolu the arrow head of the movement seeks to perfect what the forum started in 2021 to bring together his brothers from far and near to expose to them, their blood link traced to their progenitor Ezechi born in 1810.
The essence is to enlighten them on the need to maintain closer ties with each other and avoid the unpleasant consequences of inter marital relationship among them.
According to the convener in a press statement in Awka,the 2021 first edition of the Umuezechi Convention at Isi Achina took a decision to stage the second edition of the general return of its members on the 28th of December 2025,and to repeat the event every 5 years.
Bowing to the request of the Umuezechi married daughters to include them in the family history of Umuezechi family members,the Convention’s apex forum,took a wise decision to include them.
For him, the December 28th general return which will take place at the Obi of Umuezechi at Isi Achina with a thanksgiving church service, will feature merry making, exchange of contacts and the cross fertilization of ideas among the family members
He expects that all Umuezechi family members will grace the occasion.
Chief Nwakpadolu further used the occasion to wish all Anambra indigenes a happy Christmas celebration and a prosperous 2026.
He urged that people should make peace among one another and pray for the forgiveness of one another.
