Reps summon six FCT councils over N100bn financial breaches
The House of Representatives has summoned chairmen and finance directors of six FCT Area Councils—Abaji, AMAC, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje, and Kwali—over financial irregularities totaling over N100 billion, including unremitted taxes, poor asset management, and undocumented spending.
Officials must appear by February 11, 2026, or face legal action.
