Amb.Kevin Chukwu C.E.O.Crystal garden estate has noted that his vision for setting up the real estate outfit is to help reduce high cost of housing as well as makes housing affordable for all Nigerians no matter their status especially in the south east.
Disclosing this while interacting with Journalists at the end of the company ten years anniversary celebration held at CJ Patterson auditorium All saints Anglican church Onitsha last Sunday,Amb.Chukwu said that because of the company motto of absolute faith in God and honesty in service, that the company has been able trying to make a difference in the Nigeria real estate business since it’s existence in the past ten years.
On the high cost of housing in the country,he attributed the problem to low and often lack of government investment in the sector as well as lack of control which made all manner of people to infiltrate in it as agents to pepertuate all manners of unconventional practices to swindle innocent masses who are in need of accomodations.
Said he,”there is urgent need for all governments namely local, state and federal government to intervene and save the situation,it is high time the government rise and stop the ugly indiscriminate and arbitrary increase in house rents and lands.am urging them to formulate policies that will not only regulate rent increases but also streamline operation of real estate agents.
On his company activities and successes in the last ten years,he attributed it to their policy of truth, honesty and believe in God adding that in their estates when you own a land you can go to sleep without fear as they don’t indulge in fraudulent land deals.he explained that his company has been trying it’s best to make a difference by serving with fear of God to put smiles on faces of their costomers.
Reacting to a question on what he thinks will do to make shelter possible for poor Nigerians,he noted that there is urgent need for government to invest in housing programs that will guarantee availability of low cost housing as well as coming up with effective legislations to check higher rentages of houses by controling shylock agents etc.
Highlights of the colourful event was motivational speech es delivered by two well known business icon Dr Cosmas Maduka the founding president of Coscharis group of companies and Chief Dr Godwin Okeke the founding director of GUO motors and presentation of fourteen brand new vehicles to distinguish staffs of the company who Excel in their services to the company.
