While celebrating the successful rescue, Obi stressed that the recurring abduction of schoolchildren remains a grave national concern that demands urgent and decisive action.

According to him, no child should be subjected to the trauma of kidnapping. He urged government at all levels to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture and make the protection of lives and property its foremost responsibility.

He further emphasized that every Nigerian child deserves to receive an education in an atmosphere of safety rather than fear. He called for sustained efforts to build a country where children can pursue their education free from the threat of violence and abduction.
