MALLINSON UKATU: 100 Achievers, Ndigbo Hail Nigeria’s First Indigenous Wall/floor Tile Manufacturer On His Birthday

The 100 Achievers team has felicitated with Sir Mallinson Ukatu on his birthday today and described him as a visionary entrepreneur with an irrepressible spirit; an accomplished industrialist, an inspiration to the business world, an extraordinary employer of labour and a time tested philanthropist

In a release by Barr. Lizzy Anyaonu, the group stated that Sir Mallinson Ukatu has paid his dues in the industrial sector of the Nigerian economy and has contributed in no small measure to the deepening of local content. The group further stated that it is amazing how Sir, Mallinson Ukatu began life as a trader, nurtured his business with Integrity, commitment and dedication and grew his venture beyond mere buying and selling to becoming a major player in heavy industries, making it a national and continental concern.

The group commended his vision, courage, perseverance and focus in birthing the first indigenous wall and floor tile manufacturing company in Nigeria despite the extremely hostile business environment and applauded him for creating the room for technological transfer and capacity building for Nigerian engineers.

They thanked him for the great role he is playing in job creation which in turn widens the tax net and increases government revenue, and especially for being an uncommon inspiration to young and upcoming industialists, mentoring them with practical insights on the pros and cons of industry and entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The group used the opportunity to urge the federal government to accord special recognition with respect to the laudable efforts of Sir Mallinson Ukatu and nominate him into the national think tank so as to reap bountifully from his wealth of knowledge and practical experience on the Nigerian industrial terrain.
