Legendary Mike Ejeagha celebrates 91 years birthday in grand style

The residence of the legendary music maestro Chief Mike Ejeagha, located at Abakpa Nike off Obinagu Rd,Enugu was full of entertainment and glamour,as people from all walks of life gathered to celebrate with family and friends, to celebrate his bo 91 st birthday,on Sunday April 4,2021.
Chief Ejeagha was the center of every attraction as came down from his story building to join in the celebration.
Life bands and other rmusic renditions played and echoed his different tunes throughout the day. The event was marked with pomp and pageantry as different cultural exhibitions also formed the high point of the celebration.
Chief Ejeagha’s type of music took the centre stage with his special musical genre, mainly of tales by moonlight kind of music for over 40 years shortly after the Civil War, across the South-East zone and beyond. Now, age has caught up with Gentleman and he could no longer do what he knows best.
With dwindling resources based on the fact he no longer engages on life performances,his health at the present time is being taking care of by the Enugu state government.
Expectations are that more help will come from spirited individuals for the upkeep of the legend as his music seems evergreen.
