Encomiums as first UN-IPGC Special Envoy, Dr Chimbo Obieze, celebrates birthday in style

Prominent personalities across professions poured glowing tributes on the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council, (UN-IPGC), Special Envoy to Anambra State, Dr Chimbo Obieze during his birthday at the weekend, describing him as a bundle of gift to humanity.
Dr Obieze in turn has appealed for continuous harmonious living by all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria to ensure sustainable peace exist in the country.
Dr Obieze who spoke during a birthday bash organized in his honour by the volunteers of United Nations International Peace and Governance Council, (UNPIGC), Anambra State Diplomatic Laison Office insisted peace, love and kindness are the most important gifts humanity deserves now.
The celebrant flanked by his wife, Mrs Ebele Florence Obieze expressed shock on the quality of persons who gathered to celebrate him at the prompting of the Administrative Secretary of Support Children Education Fund ,(SCEFUND), Ambassador Amaka Ezedioranma who insisted he must be celebrated having been celebrating others.
Speaker upon speaker lauded Dr Obieze who has created positive changes in the society with numerous international organizations he is associated with ,describing him further as an innovator and creator in all human spheres including creating digital economy in supporting education especially the Sustainable Education Empowerment Gateway (SEEG).
Obieze is also the Nigeria National Coordinator of the International Human Rights Investigative Magazine as appointed by Ambassador Friday Sani, the Board Chairman.
According to Professor Steve Ibenta, former Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences and Chairman Anambra State Pilgrims Board , and Comrade Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu JP, the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council, as well as Hon Obiorah Joseph Obidike, Deputy Chief Registrar of High Court of Anambra state, Dr Chimbo Obieze is selfless, workaholic and purpose driven youth who has achieved beyond imaginations in his prime.
Other dignitaries in attendance included Dr Mrs Ibenta who is Director with Anambra ICT Agency, Pastor Obinna Orji UNIPGC Director Orumba North LGA, Hon. (Sir) Ebere Okafor ( KSJI) National President, APGA Solidarity Movement of Nigeria, Mr. Areh Anthony of National Broadcasting Commission, NBC amongst many others.
The Volunteers of UN-IPGC led by Dr Mrs Nneka Mefor presented to Dr Chimbo Obieze, a merit award as the first UN-IPGC special envoy on sustainable peace education in Anambra state.
Dr Mrs Mefor, who is also Director Planning, Policy and Implementation presented Dr Obieze’s citation”, enumerating his feats including selfless efforts in uplifting education in Nigeria especially Anambra state, which has been attested to by many international organizations and personalities.
She said Dr Chimbo has contributed in a distinctive way to improve the lot of over two thousand (2000) children through his personal contributions and the programmes of the Support Children Education Fund (SCEFUND) which he has worked studiously to promote.
In recognition of these efforts, she said, numerous organizations have given him several awards including the Chattered Institute of Education Practitioners, United Kingdom (CIEPUK) with a fellowship award. She further said that Dr Chimbo is an achiever who stops at nothing in making positive change in every situation, hence, one of his mantra is … Achieving that which seems impossible…”
A very large self portrait was presented to him also by the Volunteers of UN-IPGC in appreciation for being a good leader, achiever, motivator, innovator, peace maker cum lover and as an Icon equally.
Dr Nneka Mefo on behalf of herself and her family gifted him another self portrait while coordinator of UN-IPGC volunteers in Onitsha North, Mike Uzuoke likewise, on behalf of Onitsha North LGA presented to him a humanitarian award. Another member of UN-IPGC gave him a wrapped gift identified as an Italian foot ware . Other gifts like throw pillow were as well given to Dr Chimbo by the volunteers.
Engr Elias Ilechukwu ,Orumba South Coordinator of UN-IPGC , Ngozi Ernest-Okoye, Aguata Coordinator and another coordinator, Bright Ndubuaku were also present at the event, even as they described Dr Chimbo as a leader who knows the way and always ready to show the way to the benefits of the people, even generations yet unborn.
There were others like Pastor Iwuchukwu Muobike, Director Orumba North, Mr Ejike Izueke ,Director Onitsha North and Pastor Obinna Orji.
