Covid-19 Protocol Compliance: Anambra FRSC Commander Inspects Motor Parks Across The State

Following the lifting of the ban on interstate travels by the Federal Government and the subsequent resumption of activities at Public and Private Motor Parks nationwide, the Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State, CC Andrew Ayodele Kumapayi has today Thursday 02 July, 2020 commenced inspection of Motor Parks across the State, to ensure that Fleet Operators follow diligently all hygiene protocols to prevent the further spread of Corona Virus.

  1. The survey of the level of compliance to COVID-19 protocols by the Sector Commander, CC Andrew A. Kumapayi was carried out at TRACAS Nigeria Ltd, Awka and Ekwulobia Mass Transit Motor Park, Unizik Temporary Site, Awka. Emphasis were on, provision of hand washing facilities and alcohol based hand sanitizer, use of passengers manifest, compliance with social distancing, loading of passengers and wearing of face mask by drivers and passengers.

  1. The Sector Commander directed the Motor Park Operators to ensure all safety measures highlighted in the COVID-19 protocols are strictly adhered to, in other to contain the further spread of the pandemic.
    The exercise continues tomorrow.
