COVID- 19 and food Apostolate: Ebube Muonso distributes rice, cartons of Indomie , yams to 4,000 poor Nigerians

Director,Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra state, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma- Fr Ebube Muonso, as part of support to cushion the effect of COVID -19 pandemic ravaging the world distributed food stuff worth Ten Million naira (N10 Million)to over four thousand (4,000) poor Nigerians resident in Anambra state.
Distributing the two lorry trucks of rice, a lorry truck of yams and a lorry truck of Indomie at his Parish Church of Blessed Iwene Tansi , Umudioka, Rev Fr Obimma thanked his Friend , High Chief Dr Obiorah Okonkwo, a Governorship aspirant in Anambra, who supported his food apostolate to children of God with thousands of sanitizers. Dr Okonkwo was represented at the occasion.
Fr Ebube Muonso as he is fondly called said he learnt his charity giving and philanthropy to the downtrodden from His mentor and Archbishop, Most Reverend Valerian Maduka Okeke, the Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province who is a serious giver.
Fr Ebube Muonso has given scholarship to thousands of people, cars to his workers and built houses for the poor among his numerous other food and care apostolate.
His words:” I have emptied my personal account to make sure this happened and by God’s grace by next week Monday and again in two weeks time, I shall do another round of giving to the poor in our society. And I urge those who have to give out to others as givers never lack. I am overwhelmed when I saw over 4,000 people ready to collect food. I praised God that I thought it wise to do the food apostolate. I have taken the lead, others in the mission should follow.
” I am sure soon Coronavirus will be a thing of the past, because Jesus Christ died for us that we may live . I urge Nigerians and Christians to have hope in Jesus Christ. We shall overcome Coronavirus because with hope and faith , we are more than conquerors. Coronavirus shall come to an end. God heal your people in Jesus name….Amen. “
Expressing their joy on the food gift from Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma , Fr Ebube Muonso, Ezenwa Oraegbune ; Ngozika Onwuakpaelo among others expressed gratitude to God for using Fr Ebube Mounso to provide food for them ,and prayed God to keep him for further blessings to them and the society. They prayed God to expand his ministry further.
