The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) Anambra State Branch has strongly condemned the recent assassination attempts on Peter Obi, John Odigie Oyegun, Osunbor, and others.

The group described the attacks as “dastardly, barbaric, and insensate shootings” and called for investigations and justice.

The CLO appealed to the perpetrators to account for their actions and reminded them of the biblical commandment “Thou shall not kill.”

They thanked God for sparing the lives of the targeted individuals and prayed for the injured to recover.

The organization called on the Inspector General of Police to investigate the attacks and bring the perpetrators to justice, emphasizing the importance of respecting human life and dignity.
