Pele has been known to be the greatest footballer ever since and during his football days, Pele has won 3 world cups and scored a total of 757 officially recognised goal.
On Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo broke that record and set his own tally as he scored two goals, taking his own officially recognised goals to 758.

Before then, Santos football club had earlier dropped a statement that Pele scored 1,091 goals in total while playing for them as against the 643 that’s being portrayed when being compared to Messi’s record.
After Ronaldo broke that record, Pele went to his IG page and changed his biography from the 757 goals that it was to 1,283 as you can see below
