Anglican Choir Master, Dr Okwuchukwu Okonkwo Weds Youth Leader, Miss Virginia Aghadinuno Amidst Pomp and Ceremony

It was Pomp and Ceremony at the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka when the Choir master of the Church, Dr Okwuchukwu Okonkwo walked down the aisle with a youth leader, former Miss Florence Aghadinuno, a computer specialist.

The colorful event saw the families of Late Mr Paul and Mrs Virginia Aghadinuno of Abube-Uno Nando Anambra East local government area of Anambra State and Mr Godfrey and Mrs Caroline Okonkwo of Alaboukwu village, Uruagu ,Nnewi Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State appear in their best to celebrate their children.

Former Miss Florence Chiemelie Aghadinuno was in her best as she quits spinsterhood to wed Master Okwuchukwu Kenechukwu Okonkwo, a Mathematics lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.

They Wedded on April 3rd at the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka and later held a reception at St Peter’s Anglican Church Hall, Amawbia.

He prayed God to grant their union love, peace and good health to grow old in the marriage and witness their children and grand children.

Earlier in his sermon, the Vicar Church of The Holy Spirit Awka, and Archdeacon, CHS Archdeaconry, Ven Dr Onyeka Egwuonwu emphasized on the need for couples to love unconditionally, urging couples to bring true attitudes, genuine love and honesty to marriage.

Chairman on the occasion, and former Registrar of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Sir Barrister Chief CC Okeke urged the couples to have tolerance as a virture in other to succeed in marriage.

Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, PhD among others attended the wedding ceremony.
