Angel Network News MD ‘Obiefuna’ Burys Father In Nimo, As NUJ Anambra Condoles Family

The Managing Director of Angel Network News (ANN) Dr. Ifeanyi Obiefuna on Friday 23rd May 2025 in Ebengwu Village, Nimo, Njikoka LGA, buried his father, Late Engineer Nnamdi John Obiefuna who died at the age of 76.

In his sermon at the requiem mass at St Marys Catholic Church, Nimo, officiated by Rev. Fr. Peter Obiefuna, Christians were
urged to reconsile with God and amend their ways because no one knows the day they will die.

Fr. Obiefuna who is the brother to late Engr. John, expressed gratitude to all for their solidarity in this trying times.

Deputy Majority Leader, Anambra State House State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Akpua and Mayor of Njikoka LGA, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba while speaking during their condolence visit, encouraged the family of Obiefuna to take solace in the impactful life their patriarch lived and prayed for God’s comfort and strength for them at this difficult time.

They described late Engr. Joho Obiefuna as a peaceful and religious man who left behind a legacy of humility, service, and dedication to community development.

In their condolence speech, the former Vice President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) South-East Zone, Sir Emma Ifesinachi, Chairman NUJ Anambra State Council, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu PhD, and Chairman ANN Chapel, Mr. Bonvera Ndubisi expressed deep sympathy and prayed God to accept the soul of late Obiefuna in paradise.
Dr Odogwu encouraged the family to pick the race from where their father stopped and maintain his legacies as enumerated by his peers and associates.
