Anambra: Police Arrest A Member Of An Robbery Syndicate Terrorizing Nnewi, Recovers A Motorcycle

Police Operatives attached to the Otolo- Nnewi Police Station on 29th May, 2025 arrested one Nnaji Chukwuka ‘M’ aged 20 years who is a member of an armed robbery gang/syndicate/Motorcycle snatcher terrorizing Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Government Area and recovered one machete and one Honda Cub 120 motorcycle.
This was contained in a press release by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, Awka.
According to him, “The arrest follows the painstaking efforts of the Operatives who have monitored the pattern of the criminal operations and based on a series of complaints about the activities of the gang in the area.
“The suspect has made useful statements that is aiding the investigation for possible arrest of the other gang members.
“Meanwhile, the owner of the stolen motorcycle has been identified and the bike released accordingly.
