Anambra police rescue baby sold for N1.7m, arrest mother, three others
Anambra police have rescued a one-week-old baby sold for N1.7m in Awkuzu. The 25-year-old mother, Peace Elijah, allegedly received N350,000 from the sale.
Three accomplices — Elizabeth Okafor, Esther Nweke, and Ngozi Maanfa — were also arrested. Police said the baby is safe as investigations continue.
