In the build up to Anambra State gubernatorial elections in 2021, the indomitable All Progressives Grand Alliance seem to have positioned itself to confirm the fact that there is no vacancy at the government house Awka. With Emeka Ojukwu jr.; a chip off the old block joining the fray of star studded aspirants to the number one position, the space is indeed arithmetically closing in on other political parties.
The grandson of the legendary Sir Louis – Philipe Odumegwu Ojukwu and son of the equally legendary larger than life Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu; Ikemba Nnewi, Dikedioranma Ndigbo Gburugburu, father of All Progressives Grand Alliance and its Ndigbo ideals, Emeka Ojukwu jr. need no introduction. In politics according to wikipedia, name recognition is ” a trademark or distinctive name identifying a product ” . A product so identified automatically migrate into the popular brand category in any contest with other brands. I am fully persuaded that Emeka Ojukwu jr. is the only brand to beat in the 2021 race to the government house Awka.
Providence as always is at work here with the All Progressives Grand Alliance zoning the gubernatorial position to Anambra South Senatorial district. This distinctive zone is packed with women and men blessed with the political, commercial, industrial and academic identity of Ndigbo with Nnewi North Local Government Area as first among equals. Emeka Ojukwu jr. comes well endowed and prepared. As a practicing IT infrastructure design and technology solutions provider, he appears the most prepared to tap into the abundant human resources in Anambra Youth as we position the State to compete with the rest of the world global Village.
As a former Sole Administrator of Nnewi North Local Government Area, former Commissioner for Special Duties under the robust State Executive Council of the then governor His Excellency Peter Gregory Obi where he was saddled with portfolios that include:- Information Communication Technology (ICT), Specific Internal Government Revenue (IGR) Windows, Anambra State Environmental Protection Agency, Security etc., Emeka Ojukwu jr. is not bereft of experience and preparation. He is also a Senior level Multi-lingual ( Igbo, English, French and Spanish) consultant with over 15 years experience in applications, integration/ development support, over 13 years of consulting and 11 years in project management and training.
Accomplished in systems benchmark analysis, applications design, development, validation, data migration/ conversion, deployment, disaster recovery, technical support and training. An orator and active participant in the industry speaking circuit. Happily married and accessible. APGA and Anambra State should please search no more for a worthy successor to His Excellency Governor Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano (Akpokuedike Global).
