AMB. OKORO APPEALS TO TINUBU TO RELEASE NNAMDI KANU

The Director General of Importers Association Of Nigeria Taskforce, IMAN, Amb. Chijioke Okoro has appealed to the president, Bola Tinubu to release the detained leader of the indiginious people of Biafra, Mazi who has been in DSS custody for a long.

Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja today, the DG admonished the president as a listening president and implored him to listen to the plea of the people to release him to bring peace and tranquility to the eastern region.

He said ‘I know that a president is a man of peace who wants to unite the country, he should try and release Nnamdi Kanu since he is not connected with his arrest, it was Bahari who arrested him, and he should not listen to eastern governors who do not want peace to return to the region because of their selfish interest, I want the best for the Igbo people and the best for Nigeria’.
