2 Market Chairmen Laud Governor Soludo On LG Election, 2024 Traders Sports Competition, Others
The Chairmen of New Auto Spare Parts, Idemili North Local Government Area Chief Obiora Ofoleh and the Chairman of Iron Dealers Union Market, Atani, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State, Mr Evaristus Ejezie respectively have lauded Governor Soludo on the just concluded Local government and Councillorship elections in the state.
Speaking, Chief Oforleh noted that the state has not conducted LG election for 11 years, that the landslide victory of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA on 28th Sept is a welcome development and a testament of the good works of Governor Soludo within these few years in office.
His words” I Commended him because he promised earlier that he would conduct the local government election during his campaign promises not because of the supreme Court judgement.
“It is unprecedented, an appreciation from the citizens/residents of the state and the newly elected chairmen are expected to work in synergy with the governor, the landslide victory would help to facilitate the good works of the governor .
“These chairmen have been tested and trusted, for instance, the Chairman of Idemili North, Hon Stanley Nkworka has been a good fellow, within his one month as the caretaker committee chairman, Idemili North has been given testimonies on his achievements which made them to voted for him immensely.
“The environment of Idemili North changed for good on cleanliness because he evacuates the refuse dumps on daily basis, he has gone around all the markets under Idemili North and we have a good working relationship with him and other things.
“Let them queue into Mr governor’s mission, initiatives on pipe borne water projects, security, which through the effort of the governor, Min of Trade and Commerce, and ASMATA executives, we have started installing camera to help us secure the market and the environs.
“I must appreciate our governor because looking around the state with the infrastructural developments littered everywhere, you would know that he meant business and he is out to work, after his 8 years in office, I bet you, this state would be one of the best states in Nigeria”,he said.
In his words, Mr Ejezie expressed his joy over the 2024 Anambra State Sports Traders Sports Competition which will keep off soonest, insisted that his market would carry this years trophy as they did last year.
He commended Governor Soludo, Special Adviser,SPAD, to the Governor on Trade and Commerce, Chief Evarist Uba, Permanent Secretary, Min of Trade and Commerce, Chief Samuel Ike and ASMATA PG, Chief Humphrey Anuna for their efforts in ensuring that peace exist in all the markets in the state.
According to him, I am much happy for the ongoing road construction of Uga–Atani road by our able Governor and other infrastructural developments in Ogbaru, Ndi Ogbaru/ residents are happy with him
He reiterated that the conduct of local government election by Governor Soludo shows his integrity because he promised to do it before the judgement of the supreme Court, stated that the Governor is gradually fulfilling his campaign promises to Ndi Anambra.
