Two students of Holy Family Youth Village Amansea have been suspended for fighting inside the hostels bus.

The quarrel was as a result of a little misunderstanding between them which later led to hot exchange of insults.

An eye witness who did not want her name mentioned, narrated that “The students stood in a straight line as usual waiting in Multi Purpose hall (MPH) for the bus to arrive. When the bus arrived, they boarded quietly.

“When Obieze Chinenye, a law student who had just arrived tried to enter the bus instead of going to the back. Another student Chinedu Juliet stopped her and they began to exchange insults”.

When they had entered the bus Juliet said she was going to take a picture of her to show Rev. Father Domnike, the Rector of the hostel. Chinenye warned her not to do so but Juliet was adamant and snapped her from behind then stretched her hand to capture Chinenye’s face.

“This infuriated Chinenye who slapped her hand trying to stop her from capturing her face. Unfortunately the phone fell of from Juliet’s hand and broke. Juliet in anger attacked Chinenye and they broke into a fight,” she recalled.

The fight was reported to the of HFYV SUG and the Rector took up the case. They students were later suspended from the hostel for a month while they must come return with their parents at the expiration of the suspension.
