LIVE IN HARMONY: PRIEST TELLS CONGREGATION

The Parish Priest in charge of Madonna Catholic Church, Agulu, Rev Fr Obiefuna, has called on the faithful to live in harmony with one another.

In a homily which focused on oneness, Fr. Obiefuna emphasized the need for the people to live peacefully and work together.

He likened unity among men to the bundle of broom sticks which become difficult to break compared to each stick that is easily broken.

“United We Stand, Divided We Fall,” he noted as he charged the congregants to support one another.

The priest also emphasized the need for mutual love which according to him drives harms away from human relationship.

According to him, since God is love, christians must love one another to be one with Him.

“We must love one another and learn to respect each other,” he concluded.
