Voters Registration: Market Chairman Charges Traders To Partake On The Ongoing Exercise

The Chairman of Old Motor Car Parts Dealers, Mgbuka Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Chief Samuel Ifurunwa on 18th July charged the traders of the market to utilize this golden opportunity to get registered and obtain their voters card.
He emphasized on the importance of voters registration and stated reasons on why it is necessary for every citizen of this country who is up to 18 years to obtain his/hers, noting that it is a civic responsibility and very vital for all the necessities.
Ifurunwa who said this in his office at the market also charged those who have clocked 18 years to equally do the needful for the re-election of Governor Charles Soludo come Nov.8 guber election.
“According to him,”If you are an eligible voter but not voting in Anambra State, please go and change your PVC location to Anambra State so that you can be able to cast your vote in Anambra for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his good governance especially the grassroot development in all the communities in the state
“In security, infrastructural development, education, one youth two skills,among others, then the access road to Mgbuka Obosi Market is another plus for us, since we are one of the beneficiaries of Governor Soludo’s administration, it deems necessary for every trader in Mgbuka who don’t vote here to go and change his/her Permanent Voters Card, PVC, to Anambra State.
He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the extension of the voters registration to 20th July, adding that it is an opportunity for those who could have missed out in this.
He extolled those who work tirelessly with the governor in development of markets, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Market, Chief Evaristus Ubah.
Others were the Permanent Secretary. Trade and Market, Chief Chinedu Ike, the President General, PG, Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna among others.
