Vardy first joined Leicester from Fleetwood in 2012, and he’s since scored 130 goals for the Foxes in 310 appearances.

Last season he entered the Premier League 100 Club, and he ended the 2019/20 campaign with the Golden Boot having netted 23 times in the top-flight.

The forward was named Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year in 2015/16 as he fired Leicester to the most stunning league title success in the history of the sport, while he’s also been capped 26 times by England, scoring seven goals.

On his new contract, Vardy said: “The journey that I’ve been on with this football club is hard to describe, and although we’ve accomplished so much together already, I know that I’ve got so much more to achieve with this team, so it’s a special feeling to be able to commit my future to Leicester City once again.
