The President of Youth Advocates For Peace, Justice And Empowerment Network (YAPJEN), Amb. Timothy C. Nwachukwu has commended the vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku for his Sterling performance as the 5th substantive vice Chancellor of the famous institution named after the great Zik of Africa, Dr. Benjamin Nnamdi Azikiwe.
Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu, A regular guest in media stations as well as a law student in Nnamdi Azikiwe University stated this while addressing Students of the great citadel of learning. He enumerated the achievement of The Unizik Vice Chancellor to include infrastructural revolution in the areas of road and building construction among others.
The Peoples Advocate as he is widely known listed some of the road network that has received the Midas touch cum facelift from the performing Vice Chancellor to include the beautiful gate road, the Arthur Eze Main Avenue of the Campus and the Emeka Offor road among several others.
He stated that the modification and beautification of the University environment is another area which the Vice Chancellor showcased his masterpiece and taste for class thereby setting a high standard for whoever emerges as the new Vice Chancellor.
The introduction and deployment of Biometric Data Capturing Machines has aided in no small measure to the reduction and eradication of impersonation and examination malpractice, the Mobile app has eased the tension and difficulty which students encountered over the years in the course of registration.
The Human Right Activitist further appealed to the Vice Chancellor to expedite action on the ongoing construction of the University medical center.
The Model United Nations Ambassador stated that the Vice Chancellor’s gaint strides and imprint on the University will remain a benchmark of performance and for the incoming Vice Chancellor as he nears the end of his administration.
