Uche Ekwunife Affirms Anambra Guber Election Free, Fair
The Senator representing Anambra Central, and Chairperson of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Campaign Council, Mrs. Uche Ekwunife has substantiated the just-concluded Anambra governorship election as free, fair, credible and most agreeable.
Senator Ekwunife made the remark while speaking at the ninth and tenth Zik lecture series held at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
According to her, the peace that was witnessed during the poll, despite the general feelings that it was going to be bloody, is a confirmation that Anambra is the safest and most peaceful state in the country.
She enjoined others to emulate Anambra, calling on people from across the country to feel free anytime in Anambra.
On the man Zik, Senator Ekwunife described him as the brain behind the entrenched democracy Nigerians are enjoying today.
She thanked God for richly blessing Anambra with resourceful personalities, adding that it was indeed, the light of the nation.
