Tragedy in Achalla as son kills father over land

Tragedy struck in Achalla weekend when a grandfather, Emeka Modieme was stabbed to death by his first son Ikechukwu Modieme over claims to land belonging to the family.

Narrating the incidence to www.odogwublog.com, the second son of the deceased and step brother to Ikechukwu,  Ifeanyi who did not want to go into details of how their father was stabbed said the incidence was shocking to them.

He said the matter has been referred to State CID Awka and the remains of their father deposited in a mortuary.

The deceased has four children though he returned with Ifeanyi after the war as his son.
