The strife for excellence

Every loss comes at a cost but some losses are more expensive. Anyone without peace would know that such a loss is not something to wish for. Nothing can compare to peace – the true peace that comes with a clear conscience that fears no accusations and succumbs to no intimidation. It is priceless and invaluable, empowering for boldness and equipping for efficiency and effectiveness.

Peace can be defined as “a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there is no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom.” It is not necessarily the absence of challenges or problems but rather a state of calmness amid turmoil and troubles.

To be healthy and have an optimum life, peace of mind is a must. It plays an important role in the pursuit and conquest of excellence. Yes, a feeling of being safe or protected is a condition for a meaningful thought process in generating ideas – meaningful and useful ideas – for desired right input and expected outcome. Peace of mind is required for problem solving as it equips for active participation without let or hindrance. A peaceful mind can think with the box or out of the box and view things wholly in the totality of options, cross-fertilizing ideas from different perspectives. It is required for adventure and exploration.

Excellence comes through conscious efforts with diligence and persistence. A peaceful mind is a good breeding place for this and will provide and promote reasons for resilience even in the face of tough challenges. It gives hope in hopeless cases; illuminating dark spots and polishing gray areas for maximum use.

Life is not a bed of roses so things can never be easy no matter how one tries even with absolute cautions and precautions. To live is to triumph over challenges – and there are countless and endless challenges everywhere and every time. The higher we go, the hotter it becomes; the older we grow, the more complex and complicated life becomes. However, tough times bring out the best in people, and tough people win for strife roughens the system but also strengthens it.

Things are tough and may get tougher as the days go by so prepare for the worst and be ready to put in your best. Go out to pay the price if you desire the prize. Development demands a lot. Every advancement has its share of challenges, and as we advance in age, such challenges increase in all corners and shades. Every aspiration has a price; every desire takes some share of our resources. Success comes at a cost. It is expensive to achieve success but more expensive to remain successful!

To excel, you must expand yourself. Giving begets getting. Sharing leads to multiplication. What you give, how and why has ways of determining what you will get in return. It is a simple law of sowing and reaping. Everything reproduces its kind. Oftentimes, the output is a reflection of the input but in many folds.

If you desire excellence, do excellent things. Pay the price for the prize. Conduct your life with sincerity of purpose. Avoid shortcuts no matter how cheap or easy they may look.

There is no glamour in greed; there is no glory in gutters; there is no joy in the prison – especially the prison of the mind. Occupy yourself with noble thoughts. Think of how to make the world – your world a better place; think of how best to earn an honest living; think about wealth creation, and go out to create good wealth.

Beyond theoretical fabrications things don’t always work as planned. Setbacks are parts of every engagement. Frictions come often in the milling process. Errors can occur in every human endeavour and failure can come in every adventure but there is no problem without a solution.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Light, however small, illuminates darkness and brightens the path. Truth triumphs over falsehood though it may take time to be revealed and accepted. Honesty equips for boldness. Be true to yourself and you will live within the limits of your ability. Accept your fate and work but work with mountain moving faith to actualize your dreams. Like necessity that is the mother of invention, lack leads to discovery. Look around and see what you can discover from that lack and need. That problem may be your best opportunity to break-forth and go places.

What are the things that people lack, and how can you fill the need? If you can provide an answer to this question, your life will change for the better – and doing this with a clear conscience will be great.

A clear conscience worth more than silver and gold combined. A bold life lives above intimidations and fear – and without fear, there is no end to what the mind can conceive and achieve. There is no hurdle a free mind cannot overcome. Be free and become absolute.

Embrace life with a winner’s mindset and you will end up setting new world records. You can if you think you can. You can only win when you try. Do the needful. Triumph over history and set a new world record.

There is neither gain nor glamour in playing small. Dream big and take calculated risks. Dare to conquer the world but not out of selfish reasons. Do all you can to beautify your place and make it more conducive for human habitation. Be a people-oriented person with a global vision and world view.

Imagine things, especially the unimaginable. Explore the world of fantasy and come up with great ideas that may sound incredible. Be absolutely creative and cause things to happen. There is joy in being true first to yourself and then to others. Pursue your ambitions without let or hindrance. Conduct your life with a high sense of civility and decorum. Live to the fullest.

Try new things no matter the cost. It is better to try and fail than not try at all. Failure is not final and it will not be the end of the world. The lessons of failure with the associated blessings are indeed priceless.

Within the limits of your ability, cause things to happen. Resolve to make the world a better place, and go out to do that. Without limitations empower people and beautify society. Speak against injustice and warn against the dangers of evil. Build and not destroy; encourage not demoralize those promoting peaceful coexistence. Seek excellence, and go out to achieve it. In your pursuit, and conquest, of excellence, practice, practice and practice very well.

Uplift people and give your affordable best to the cause of humanity especially the one you believe in but in a civilized manner. Enjoy life.
