Soludo Inspects Anambra Hydraform Plant, Plans Relocation to Boost Production
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Tuesday visited the Anambra State Hydraform plant in Awka to inspect its operations and see the products being made at the facility.
During the visit, governor Soludo examined the interlocking blocks and other building materials produced by the plant and praised their quality. He said the facility can help reduce the cost of construction projects while encouraging the use of locally made building materials.
Soludo noted that supporting local production is important for economic growth and job creation. He added that the Hydraform plant has the capacity to provide affordable and durable materials for housing and infrastructure projects across the state.
Speaking further, he disclosed plans of moving the state Hydraform plant to a bigger and more suitable location to improve its operations and increase productivity.
The governor concluded by encouraging greater patronage of the facility, saying it will help strengthen local industries and reduce reliance on materials brought in from outside the state.
