RCCG Bids Farewell to Pst Kayode, others in Style.

It was a day of honour for Pastor Kayode Emmanuel and other men of God who served at the provincial headquarters (Anambra province 1) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God ( RCCG), Awka as the church, showered encomium and showed deep appreciation to the men of God that were recently transferred out of the province.

Unitil their transfer, Pastor Kayode and Pastor Mrs Deborah Emmanuel was in charge of the province, Pastor Mrs Abumchi Igboko was the Assistant Pastor incharge of the province, Pastor Fredrick Ukagwu was the Provincial Admin Officer , Decon Eze Williams was the Assistant Provincial Accountant while Pastor Mrs Mona Jardi Awoniyi was the Maternity Matron .

During the sendforth ceremony held at the Dominion parish of the church, Ifite Awka, the parishioners described the outgoing pastors as officers of extreme gallantry in the vineyard of the lord.

According to the pastor incharge of the Region,
Pastor Kolajo Adesanya during his homily, noted that every worker suppose to undergo proper training as a soldier in God’s vineyard.

Speaking, from the book of 2 Timothy chapter 2, Pastor Kolajo stated that transfer is part and parcel of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, adding that one can only be a gallant soldier by passing through a process of recruitment.

“How does one be a soldier? It’s either you are recruited, enlisted or you are conscripted but in our own case ,we are enlisted to be soldiers of Christ untill you retires.

“As a soldier, always expect transfer, it is the nature of the work and it has the pains and gains .
“When you you receive such transfer letters as a worker, do not complain. The lord will be with you. You can encounter many things but endure it for a soldier obeys the last order” he said.

According to Deaconess Ngozika Okoye and others who testified and described the characters of the outgoing pastors as team players, workaholic, generous givers who love God and don’t discriminate against anyone.

“They are wonderful team and humble with good heart, above all, they knew their jobs .

On behalf of others, Pastor Kayode Emmanuel, the outgoing pastor thanked the Region for the show of Love towards them and equally reminded the region that the Anambra province 1 is still tender and needs support for growth

“You made me conductor while the pastors at the Zonal, Area and parish levels and other ministers collectively do the work

“We all worked as a family ,You will be celebrated and God will embrace you with blessings. he proclaimed.

Other anointed men of God who attended the appreciation service includes Pastor Chidi Emmanuel and Wife , Pastor Chinonso Collins and Wife , Pastor Ade Boboye and wife ,Pastor Adewale Olatunde and wife , Pastor Ngozi Umeanosike , Pastor Sunday Anyiam and wife Zonal ,Area, parish pastors and other Anointed men of God .

Prayers for the former Pastors ,presentation of gifts ,Testimonies, choir ministration, from different choristers of the church made the appreciation and sendforth colourful .
