CHS Awka: Joy family harvest ends in praise, as Rev Nnamani tasks Christians to be joyful

The Joy family annual harvest Thanksgiving 2020 has ended in praise at the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka presided over by Ven Dr Rex C Kanu.

Joy family of The Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka had earlier did it’s mini Harvest at the Chapel of Divine Grace Nibo in the compound of Justice Chinyelu Kalajine Anigbogu.

Delivering his sermon during the annual harvest Thanksgiving, a curate with the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka , Reverend Emmanuel Nnamani insisted that the joy of the Lord remains the strength of Christians.

Rev Nnamani pointed out that Thanksgiving is an opportunity to show God loves , adding that Christians must trust God always for His joy is sufficient.

He enjoined Christiams to always ask aright anything in God’s name and they would be surprised they shall receive abundantly.

He noted that prayers of Christians have not been answered because they haven’t used the right words during prayers.

”Your prayer has not been asked because you haven’t used the right word for your prayers.’

‘When you ask and do not receive it’s because you asked amiss for your own pleasure”

“Use the right language as it will solve the problem”.

Rev Nnamani maintained that asking and receiving is asking the right and charged Christians to love God and devout themselves to things of God.

While reiterating that asking the right thing is key for God’s blessings, Rev Nnamani urged Christians to pray for God to use their anticipated enemy to bless them, while ‘Learning to place your self in right position for God’s blessings”.

He admonished that , “May God help us to be humble and learn to ask aright”.
