Prof.Ibenta Delivers Unizik 1st Ex-augural Lecture In Grand Style, Conveys Message Of Hope For Nigeria Through Collaborative Efforts

The long awaited Valedictory Ceremony/Ex-Augural Lecture And Festschrift Presentation in honour of Professor Steve Ibenta a celebrated academic has come and gone with deep reflections and memorable testimonies by guests that graced the occasion.
Delivering the lecture titled,”The Lost Paradise:Power Of Money, Finance And Banking, And Politics Of Investments, Wealth Creation and Sustainable Economy ‘at the ASUU secretariat Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Campus, Ibenta a Prof. of Finance,Banking And Economic Development Studies, described Nigeria as a paradise suggesting a country flowing with milk and honey.
According to Valedictory Lecturer, Nigeria as a lost paradise needs redemptive overhaul to restore its former glory.
He called on all relevant Stakeholders to be part of the building process to make the country work again.
The academic thanked all those who assisted him to ascend to the Olympian height he has attained and wished them well in their endeavors.
The Chairman of the occasion and the Vice Chancellor of the Tansian University Prof.Eugene Nwadialor felicitated with the celebrant for enriching the world with his intellectual property.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Unizik Prof.Carol Arinze- Umobi represented by a Prof of religion in Unizik Prof.Nwadialor commended the Valedictory Lecturer for impacting on the academic world and wished him well in his future endeavors.
In a message,a former Commissioner For Housing In Anambra State Hon.Frank Offor congratulated Prof.Ibenta for his scholarly disposition which has produced lots of resourceful personalities impacting positively globally.
Hon.Offor used the forum to speak on the positive development trend in Anambra State under Governor Soludo’s watch, a product of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Party.
According to the former Commissioner, APGA as a political party has made appreciable marks that have moved Anambra State to enviable heights.
He passed a vote of confidence on the present administration for delivering on its campaign promises.
In a related development,the Commissioner for Agriculture Dr.Foster Ihejiofor also felicitated with Prof.Ibenta for his intellectual endowment which has advanced knowledge beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Dr.Ihejjofor expects Nigerians to tap from his rich intellectual endowment to rejig the nation’s economy.
The Commissioner used the forum to speak on the forth coming November 8th governorship election,asking the electorate to come out en masse to exercise their franchise.
He spoke positively about the Soludo administration as progressive.
In a remark, a representative of the President General of Akpu Town Union Comrade Kennedy Udechukwu also felicitated with Prof.Ibenta for his scholarly disposition which has enriched the world.
Highlight on the occasion was the Festschrift Presentation by the celebrant.
Present during the occasion were the Catholic bishop of Awka diocese Most Reverend Dr.Paulinus Ezeokafor, the wife of the celebrant Engr.Dr.Idigo Ibenta, the Chairman of the Valedictory Lecture series Prof.Josephat Ogbuagu, the traditional ruler of Aguleri Igwe Michael Idigo, the former Commissioner for Works in Anambra State Engr.Marcel Ihejiofor, the academia,among other distinguished guests.
