Primate of All Nigeria, Archbishop Ndukuba, Soludo, Others attend Archbishop Ibezim ‘s daughter’s wedding

Primate of All Nigeria and Archbishop Metropolitan, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Deputy Governor, Dr Onyeka Ibezim among other Archbishops, Bishops and politicians were among dignitaries who attended the wedding ceremony of the
Archbishop, Province of the Niger, and Bishop of Awka, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim at the Cathedral Church of St Faith, Awka.

Archbishop Ibezim’s first daughter, Dr. Ozioma’s got married to her heartthrob, Dr. Chukwudi Nmuoto.

Governor Soludo congratulated the new couple on their new status, and expressed optimism that the union will not only stand the test of time but will be an example to many.

Governor Soludo used the opportunity to advocate for parents to give their children full Igbo names as a way of sustaining and promoting their rich culture and tradition, disclosing that his six children only bear Igbo names without English names attached.

Also speaking, the Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim thanked God for the life and new status of his niece, wishing her and her husband well, even as he advised them to be each other’s confidant and always keep to their marital vows.

In their separate interviews, the parents of the bride, Archbishop Ibezim, and his wife, Martha assured their daughter and her husband of God’s presence in their marriage and encouraged them to support and cherish each other at all times.

Earlier in a sermon, the Dean, of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Blessing Enyinda explained that marriage is good if couples learn to follow the golden rules of marriage which are that wives must submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and the husbands love their wives unconditionally.

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the Senate, Senator Victor Umeh, Former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Virgy Etiaba, a candidate in the last Anambra gubernatorial election, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, were among dignitaries that attended the wedding including Bishops and hundreds of Priests.

Meanwhile, the traditional marriage ceremony of Dr Ozioma Ibezim, the first daughter of the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, and her heartthrob, Dr Chukwudi Nmuoto of Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State was grand as the parents of the bride, Most Reverend Alexander and Martha Ibezim thanked God for His faithfulness to their family and the fulfillment of their daughter’s dream of a right partner. They wished their daughter well and prayed for God’s hands to uphold her marriage and new home.

The Bride, Dr Ozioma thanked God for making her dream come through, explaining that in searching for her life partner she involved God whom she described as a perfect matchmaker, expressing hope that God will accomplish His plans in her new home.

The event featured paying of dowry, wine carrying, dance by the new couple, among others.
