Police arrest two officers for shooting at civilian car in Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two officers for firing at the tyres of a civilian vehicle during a checkpoint stop in Jimeta.
Police spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje said the officers’ actions were “unnecessary and unprofessional,” though no one was injured.
Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris has ordered a full investigation, with disciplinary measures to follow.
