Niger PTA rejects ministry’s order to dissolve school committees

The Niger State Parent-Teacher Association (NIPTA) has opposed a government directive to dissolve public schools’ PTA executives, calling it “unconstitutional” and an attempt to undermine parents’ and teachers’ roles.

Chairman Adamu Yunusa urged schools to maintain existing PTA leadership and protect the association’s role in supporting students and education.
