Ọnwa Asaa Nibo 2019 Was Very Successful -Igwe Ike Nibo

The spokesman of Nibo town has said that the 2019 edition of Ọnwa Asaa Nibo Festival was a success as the age long festival was celebrated this year.

The most popular Festival in Nibo, Ọnwa Asaa Nibo, was celebrated last weekend 19th and 20th October, 2019. During the celebration, Nibo was agog with different masquerades and human traffic. It was simply a cultural carnival.

Masquerade outing for the festival started on Wednesday, 16th October, 2019 and ended on Sunday, 20th October, 2019. 

The leadership of Nibo Union led by Chief Engr. Dr. Sir Innocent Igwedimma Akuvue, Ochudo Nibo provided adequate security and logistics for the success of the festival. 

The Nigeria Police Anti Cult Squad, Nibo Vigilante Group and Nibo Masquerade Taskforce were on ground throughout the festival to ensure adequate security, law and order.
