1. No Research Linking 5G Network To COVID-19 – Pantami

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has revealed that there is no link between the controversial Fifth Generation Mobile Network, popularly known as 5G to Coronavirus.

He noted that no international body like the World Health Organisation and the International Telecommunication Union has linked 5G to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the world.

2. Funke Akindele, Husband Get 14-Day Community Service Ffor Flouting Lockdown Order

Actress, Funke Akindele, popularly known as Jenifa, and her musician husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello, have been sentenced to 14-day community service for violating the Lagos State’s lockdown order to check the spread of coronavirus.

Mrs Aje Afunwa of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, who pronounced the sentence on Monday, also imposed a fine of N100,000 each on the husband and wife.

3. COVID-19: Prophet TB Joshua Sends Strong Warning To Leaders Over Coronavirus Disease

Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCAON) has warned world leaders to take proactive steps in order to curb further spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus).

He warned that the leaders must also help people most affected by the impact of the coronavirus disease. He said “God’s anger” may be kindled if the leaders fail to help “displaced people” from “troubled spots.”

4. Coronavirus: Ashimolowo Slams Pastors Misleading People, Says 5G Is Not Anti-Christ

Founder and senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has declared as fake, news that there is a link between the 5G network, Coronavirus, and anti-Christ.

Ashimolowo in his view warned Christian leaders against misleading their followers on the issues surrounding 5G network, coronavirus (COVID-19) and end time signs including anti-Christ.

5. NCDC Denies Funke Akindele As Ambassador

Rumours that Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele is one of the National Centre for Disease and Control, NCDC’s ambassador has been debunked by the NCDC.

Funke Akindele had appeared in an advert on the NCDC website, in which she was educating Nigerians on how to guard against coronavirus.

6. Coronavirus: Death Toll In Africa Hits 383 As Cases Rise To 8,596

The World Health Organisation Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, has revealed the number of confirmed cases in Africa.

The Africa regional office noted that there are now 8, 596 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Africa, with 383 deaths.

7. Southeast Does Not Need 5G Network – Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has spoken against the installation of a 5G network in the Southeast.

Kanu while speaking of the Fifth Generation Mobile Networks, called on the region to look away from 5G network until all research was carried out.

8. Coronavirus: Sanwo-Olu Must Be Probed – PDP Vows

The Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State has called for the Governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to be probed over the Coronavirus pandemic.

The spokesperson of the party, Taofik Gani, noted that at the end of the pandemic, the Lagos State Governor would be probed for monies received and spent on COVID-19.

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has declared that there are fresh plans to totally crush and defeat the Boko Haram insurgents.

He, however, added that the plans can’t be made public yet but will be unveiled gradually as they get implemented.

10. Coronavirus: Ban Whatsapp, Leave 5G Alone, Daddy Freeze Tells Government

Controversial on-air personality, Daddy Freeze has urged the government to disregard calls that the 5G network is responsible for the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease which has killed many people.

He made this call amidst news making the rounds that 5G network is the major reason people are dying in their numbers of COVID-19 in other countries.
