Mourinho Eyes A Biafran Winger – See The Incredible Stats Of The 18-year-Old.

One name expected to be a frequent fixture in the transfer columns this summer is highly-rated Biafran-descent Noni Madueke.

Tottenham are reportedly weighing up a move for the youngster, who started his career at White Hart Lane and captained their U16 side. 

The 18-year-old moved to Holland in search of first-team football two years ago and has become a vital contributor for 24-time Dutch League champions, PSV.

Madueke is currently having an amazing season, having scored six goals and provided five assists in just six starts for Roger Schmidt’s team this season.

The teenager has been involved in a goal in every 67 minutes of action and his team has not lost a game when he’s scored or assisted. In the league, he currently has five goals and three assists from three starts.

The highly-rated attacking midfielder has also done well when playing from the wings and his performance this season has seen him linked with a return to Tottenham.

Spurs are closely monitoring his progress and reportedly asked about him when negotiating the transfer of Steven Bergwijn from PSV early this year.

Manager Jose Mourinho has also not stopped following the progress of the biafran and is believed to be a big admirer of the imposing and creative youngster.

Madueke, who has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the past is also attracting interest from other top clubs and has not out a return to the Premier League. 

He currently has a contract that keeps him at PSV until 2024, having signed a contract extension in March 2020. Odogwublog.com

Verdict: It looks unlikely for Madueke to leave PSV in January, but the interest in his signature shows his exploits in Holland have not gone unnoticed.
