1. APC vs PDP – Supreme Court Adjourns Ruling On Imo State Governorship Review

The Supreme Court on Monday, adjourned hearing in the case on the review of its verdict on the Imo State governorship election.

The adjournment follows a request by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the sacked Emeka Ihedioha when the matter came up for hearing on Monday.

2. Osinbajo Holds Meeting With Security Chiefs To Review Report On Arms Influx

Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, held a meeting on Monday, March 2nd with security heads to review the report of the Presidential Committee on Small Arms and Light Weapons.

This news platform understands that the meeting which held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja witnessed the presence of the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); and the Director-General of National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufa’i-Abubakar.

The operatives of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit (Taskforce) has destroyed all illegal structures, shanties, mechanic workshops, containerized kiosks and commercial bus garages around Government Public Schools at Mile 2.

Odogwublog understands that Chairman of the Agency, Olayinka Egbeyemi, who led the enforcement team to destroy the illegal structures said that the removal exercise was a sequel to numerous complaints and petitions by residents, particularly management of the Public Schools, Imoye High School and Amuwo Odofin Junior Secondary School.

6. Nigerians Are Suffering – Archbishop Of Abuja Tells President Buhari

A fresh call has gone out to President Muhammadu Buhari and other political leaders in the country to come down from their high horses and understand the people they are leading.

The Archbishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kaigama made the call on Sunday in his homily during a mass organized to mark the First 2020 Plenary meeting of Catholic Bishops’Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) which held at the Catholic Secretariat, Abuja.

7. Coronavirus: Nigerian Professor ‘Finds Cure’ For COVID-19 Disease

A Nigerian Professor of Virology from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike, Prof. Maduike Ezeibe has claimed that he has found a cure for Coronavirus.

In a statement to newsmen, Ezeibe said his newly found therapy could also cure HIV/AIDS.

He disclosed that the chemical equation of the therapy was (AI4(SiO4)32AI2Mg3(SiO4)3).

Senator Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central in the upper chamber of the National Assembly has reacted to the gruesome murder of some villagers in Kaduna state.

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to address Nigerians over the recently confirmed case of Coronavirus.

Odogwublog reports that the Federal Ministry of Health had on Friday confirmed the first case of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

10. Coronavirus: Minister Of Health Speaks On Screening Procedure At Airports

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has denied claims that passengers are not properly screened at the airports.

The minister during a press briefing on Monday revealed the procedure for screening of international passengers.
